 September 2 brings you all the genres from comedy to mystery thrillers. Fridays have been an essential day for releasing films and shows, and one can enjoy a lot of binge-worthy content on OTT.

1. ‘Cuttputli’

Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited film ‘Cuttputli’ is set to release this Friday. Directed by Ranjit Tewari, the film revolves around a cop’s mission to track down a child abduction racket in the city.

The film stars Rakul Preet Singh, Sargun Mehta and Gurpreet Ghuggi along with Akshay. The film will be streaming on Disney+Hotstar.

2. Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2

Vidyut Jammmwal’s action-thriller ‘Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2’ is set to release on OTT now. The story continues and Sameer and Nargis try to lead a happy life by adopting Nandini, a friend’s orphaned niece. In the first edition of the film, Nargis went missing, but the stakes are higher in Chapter 2 as Nandini goes missing this time.

The film stars Vidyut and Shivaleeka Oberoi in the lead along with Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajesh Tailang and others. ‘Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 Agni Pariksha’ will release on Zee5.

3. The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives (Season 2)

The synopsis of the show reads, “Cameras follow the banter and bonding between four fun-loving women from Bollywood’s inner circle as they juggle professions, family and friendship.” Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Seema Khan, and Neelam Kothari are set to make a return to the show.

The docu-reality series featuring the Bollywood wives along with their families will release on Netflix.

4. My Dear Bootham

The Tamil version of Aladdin and his genie stars Prabhu Deva and Master Param Guganesh in the lead along with Imman Annachi, Ashwanth Ashokkumar and Ramya Nambeeshan. The plot follows a kid who finds a lantern in a cave, he opens it and releases the King of all Genies named Karkimuki. The genie helps the little boy with his problems in everyday life.

Directed by N. Ragavan, this fantasy-comedy film will release on Zee5. It is a fun watch and a good way to spend some time with your kids.

5. Lorni: The Flaneur

After a successful release in the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, the film is arriving on OTT. The plot follows Shem, an out-of-work, self-styled detective with a sharp sense of the streets who is asked to investigate the disappearance of an object worthy of great cultural value. The film is set in Shillong and captures the beauty of the Northeast Indian culture.

The crime-thriller stars Adil Hussain in the lead along with Elizer Bareh and Poonam Agarwal in the cast along with others. The film will release on Sony Liv.
