Toss: the Netherlands chose to bowl vs Bangladesh in their super 12 match being played at Hobart.
Netherlands captain Scott Edwards decided to bowl against Bangladesh in cloudy conditions to kick off both sides’ Super 12s campaigns.
The Netherlands are without the wounded Roelof van der Merwe who has been replaced by Shariz Ahmad, while Logan van Beek is playing in place of Timm van der Gugten.
Bangladesh have opted for a three-man pace onslaught with Mustafizur Rahman returning to the side after skipping most of the tri-series in New Zealand. Najmul Hossain Shanto also keeps his place and is likely to open with Soumya Sarkar.
Bangladesh comes into this tournament on the back of an ordinary year, having a 25%-win record. The Netherlands, who qualified for this stage from a tight first-round group, will look to bank on their impressive all-round bowling attack.
