American states are still providing relief checks to eligible taxpayers.
In Colorado, millions of direct payments have been sent out to qualified taxpayers since last month, but more are arriving in the coming weeks.
Individual tax filers receive a check for $750, while those who file jointly can get up to $1,500 in tax rebates.
When will taxpayers receive this tax rebate?
Those who filed their state income tax return before June 30, 2022, will see their rebate arrive this summer, while those taxpayers who filed for an extension have until October 17, 2022, to do it.

Citizens filing for an extension can anticipate their checks arriving before January 31, 2023.
The Colorado Department of Revenue reports that over 2.4 million payments have been sent out, many of them being sent earlier than expected.
Around 87% of the expected payments have arrived to the taxpayers, a little over 2 million of the ones already sent.
The Colorado Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR) requires the state to return any leftover state revenue to taxpayers.
