2022 is about to end, and holidays are approaching fast in the United States. At the same time, many families in the United States continue to deal with the economic tribulation brought by inflation and ever-rising prices for energy and day-to-day expenses.
Some citizens in the state of Delaware are eligible to receive a $300 direct payment after filing their 2020 and 2021 personal income taxes, despite doing it late.
Eligibility and how to apply for this $300 direct payment?
To be eligible to receive this $300 direct payment, the individual must be a Delaware resident since at least December 31, 2021, and have a valid Social Security Number, this way. They can apply for the 2022 Relief Rebate online.
The taxpayer must also have a residential mailing address in Delaware.
It’s expected that around 780,000 residents of the state will receive the rebate after a signed bill created the Delaware Relief Rebate Program from Governor John Carney.
Estimates indicate that 600,000 Delaware taxpayers already received their direct payment during the first round sent by the program in May 2022.
