Actress Shweta Basu Prasad denies act of prostitution, sends open letter to media

The National Award-winning actress Shweta Basu Prasad got a clean chit from the Hyderabad court after being caught in a prostitution case in a hotel in Hyderabad.

After getting the clean chit, she sent an open letter to the media. She accused the media of creating a mess in her life.

Shweta Basu Pandit denied all the statements that were initially published as her statement. Initially, it was heard that she said that she did prostitution to run her family.

But now, she denies all these statements. She also said that whoever said all these about her must have been “smoking funny cigarettes’’.

Different people obviously write the previous statements and the recent open letter to the media. The language is entirely different in the two letters, and the recent letter is written in an elegant and clean language.

This year, during September, Sweta Basu Prasad was caught by Hyderabad Police during a raid in a hotel. She was detained for prostitution and sent to a rescue home in Hyderabad.

In the rescue home, she spent around two months. The Hyderabad Sessions Court cleared the allegation upon her for doing sex work.

Shweta is now back in Mumbai. She says that she is engaged right now with several short and long documentaries and movies. Currently, she is working with Anurag Kashyap.

She is busy a lot these days, and it is just a rumor that she lacks work and money. She was drowned in prostitution.
