Cricinfo quoted the Pak skipper saying, “We’ve played against them a lot recently. But of course, in very different conditions. I think that’s probably the main factor.
“Even though we’ve played each other in quite a few games here in Melbourne, it will be a different game to the series in Pakistan. We know we’re up against an excellent team. That’s exactly what you expect in a World Cup final.”
Pakistan and England have encountered twice before in the T20 World Cup, at The Oval in 2009, and in Bridgetown in 2010. England rose victorious in both events.
