1. Birmingham, Alabama
the Embrace Mothers program
March 2022 until February 2023
Expenses: $375 every month for a year.
Those in attendance: 110 single mothers
2. California’s Los Angeles
The Big Leap program runs from January 2022 through January 2023.
Expenses: $1000 every month for a year.
Participant count: about 3,000
3. L.A. has a second U.B.I. program.

Duration: three years
Monthly payments: $1,204
Participants: 150 general relief benefits recipients between the ages of 18 and 24.
4. The Californian county of Marin
2021 to 2023 in length
$1,000 every month for two years.
One hundred twenty-five low-income women raising at least one child under 18 are participating.
5. Sacramento, California
Elevate MV is a program.
Duration: One year starting in December 2022
Payables: $500 monthly
One hundred sixty-six people took part.
6. Oakland, California
Resilient Families in Oakland is a program.
Summer 2020 to the present
$500 per month in payments

7. Los Angeles, California
Program: Guaranteed Income Pilot in West Hollywood
April 2022 until October 2023
Expenses: $1000
Participants: 25 LGBTQIA inhabitants of West Hollywood, California, aged 50 or older, chosen at random
8. Georgia’s Atlanta
The I.M.P.A.C.T. program (Income Mobility Program for Atlanta Community Transformation)
Duration: One Year
Monthly payments of $500 for a year.
300 Atlanta citizens who fall below the federal poverty threshold participated.
9. Georgia
The show: In Her Hands
Duration: Starting in early 2022 and lasting at least two years
Payments: $850 monthly for two years; some recipients may also get a one-time fee.
650 Black women took part, beginning in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward.
10. Illinois’ Cook County
the Cook County program Guaranteed Income Period: Starts in December 2022 and lasts one year.
$500 per month in payments
Participants: 3,000 locals who are at or below the poverty line by 250 percent
11. Gainesville, Florida,
The Just Income G.N.V. program
Winter 2021–2022 through the beginning of 2023
$600 monthly for 11 months after the initial payment of $1,000.
Participants: 115 persons who were once jailed, reported by The Sun.
