American Residents in a dozen of the nearly 20 states that approved stimulus payouts in one way or another in 2022 are still waiting for their money. Don’t worry if you reside in one of the 12 mentioned states & haven’t yet gotten the payment you were entitled to; the check may be on its way.
California
Although most qualified Californians got their Middle-Class Tax Refund payouts of around $1,050 in Oct, some direct transfers will still be issued through November 14. Through January 14, 2023, debit card payments will be sent out.
Colorado
Colorado sent physical checks up to $1,500 or $750 for joint fillers, most of which were received by September 30. This was done to prevent fraud. However, checks will be issued to individuals who requested a tax extension until January 31, 2023.
Delaware
Residents who meet the requirements and have not yet received a Delaware Relief Rebate payment may register for the stimulus of $300 during an application of 30-day window that closes on November 30.
Hawaii
Eligible Hawaiians will get payouts of around $300 on/before December 31, depending on when they submit their taxes.
Idaho
Idaho residents who meet the criteria will get $300 payments (or $600 for couples) for the rest of the year & into early 2023.
Illinois
Illinois offers two rebates—one for $50 and the other for $300—. The first checks were distributed on September 12 and, according to the state, “will take multiple months to be given.”
Indiana
Indiana approved two tax refunds for single filers: one for $125 and one for $200. Different criteria must be met to qualify for each, and those who did have already received their payments. On the other hand, those who only qualified for the $200 refund won’t get paid and will have to claim it as a tax incentive when they register their taxes the following year.
Maine
By the order in which tax returns were received, Maine is disbursing $850 stimulus cheques to qualified taxpayers periodically throughout the year, reports Yahoo.
