Georgians may receive stimulus funds back from a budget surplus of more than $6 billion. On January 9, the state will complete a spending strategy for the surplus.
But Governor Brian Kemp disclosed his intention to use more than $3 billion of the $6.6 billion fund to give out one-time tax rebates. Where the remaining money will go is still up in the air.
New Hampshire Provides Energy Incentives
Numerous New Hampshire residents have access to over $104 million in energy rebates and gasoline assistance. Programs for home energy rebates will receive around $70 million, and the state’s fuel assistance program will receive $34 million.
The fuel aid program was launched earlier this week, and 22,000 people have already applied—an increase of 6,000 from the previous year.
According to the state, fuel subsidies can range between $304 and $3,024, depending on household income & energy expenditures. The average payout is $1,342.04, and public assistance recipients won’t be adversely affected by the payments.
Income Security In San Francisco For Trans People
Those who meet the requirements of the Trans people’s Guaranteed Income program will receive direct payments of $1,200 each month.
The 18-month program is operated in collaboration with the city administration, the Community Health Services of Lyon-Martin, and a non-profit organization called Transgender District. You must identify as transgender, intersex, non-binary, or gender nonconforming to be eligible.
Additionally, candidates must live in San Francisco, have a minimum age of about 18 years, and earn less than $600 per month. Those who meet the requirements can submit an online application for the payment every month.
Excluded Worker Stimulus’s Final Round Is About To Begin
For undocumented workers and those unable to receive federal stimulus cheques owing to their immigration status, the Excluded Worker fund provided one-time payments of up to $15,600 in New York. The state’s surplus added $2 billion for eligible recipients who made below $26,208 in 2020.
By the end of the year, about $30 million will be supplied for above 1,900 residents. The government will no longer accept applications as the fund has been fully distributed, reports Sun.
