‘Pathan’ Audience response
Fans have been asking various questions of Shahrukh Khan and he has been answering most of them. To one fan tweet asking him about the final collections, SRK wrote, “5,000 crore pyaar. 3,000 crore appreciation. 3,250 crore hugs. 2 billion smiles and still counting. Tera accountant kya bata raha hai?? (what does your accountant has to say on the subject?).”
Before the film’s release, it went through a lot of controversies and protest erupted across India. On 17 January 2023, during the BJP national executive meeting in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi told his party workers and leaders to refrain from making unnecessary remarks on films release.
