“Pathaan“, starring Shah Rukh Khan, saved Bollywood at a critical time and has continued to do so even as new films struggle to draw audiences into theaters. The movie continues to amuse moviegoers as it enters its sixth week. Following a strong weekend, the movie’s sixth Monday box office results were respectable.
Box Office Collection Of “Pathaan”
“Pathaan” earned Rs 0.80 crore on Monday, bringing its overall revenue in India to about Rs 535 crore. Beginning its sixth week, the Siddharth Anand-directed film brought in Rs 1.05 crore on Friday, Rs 2.05 crore on Saturday, and Rs 2.55 crore on Sunday.

Box Office Failure Of Other Bollywood Movies
Compared to the SRK-Deepika starrer, Akshay Kumar’s “Selfiee” failed to compete with the espionage thriller on its 2nd Monday. On its 11th day in theaters, the movie generated Rs 0.35 cr, according to Sacnilk. This takes the movie’s overall net earnings to about Rs 16.48 cr.
Trade analysts are optimistic that “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar”, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, will maintain the box office progress started by “Pathaan” after the failure of “Selfiee” and Kartik Aaryan’s “Shehzada”.

The total box office receipts for the movie are close to Rs 5.34 billion, with the Hindi adaptation alone exceeding Rs 5.16 billion. This was made possible by yet another successful weekend, which brought in over Rs 55 million.
It had no rivalry last week because there was no other release. This movie won’t be disappearing anytime soon, particularly with the strategy of lowering ticket prices. Even though “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar” premieres on Wednesday, the Holi vacation will still be advantageous to it. Before the seventh week starts, an additional Rs 30–Rs 40 million will likely be added to the film’s total, reports Indian express.
