Canadian rapper-singer Drake announced his ‘It’s All A Blur’ tour on Monday, March 13, with 21 Savage.
The two albums, “Honestly, Nevermind” and his collaboration with 21 Savage’s “Her Loss,” were released in 2022. Drake was Spotify’s most streamed artist in the United States last year. His most recent tour took place in 2018.
Details of the tour
As per the Billboard reports, the North American tour will begin on June 16 in New Orleans and last 29 dates, with stops in cities including New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Miami, Montreal, and more. It will conclude on September 5 in Glendale, Arizona.
Live Nation’s It’s All a Blur Tour tickets will initially go on presale with the Cash App Card on Wednesday (March 15), followed by Sprite on Thursday (March 16). On Friday, March 17, at 12:00 pm local time, the general sale begins on DrakeRelated.com.
What to expect from the album?
The It’s All a Blur Tour, as the name implies, is “a celebration of the last decade.” In a video he uploaded to his Instagram account announcing the tour, Drake expresses this vision. A youthful Drake walks into the video at the beginning, grinning and eager. The footage gradually centers on a billboard with the words “STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM” on it. The video then cuts to clips of him performing as a younger person before switching to him performing in front of ever-growing audiences.
Fans have been anticipating this tour since the streaming king hinted at new music at his Apollo Theatre performance earlier this year.
