The payments are made as part of the Emergency Winter Energy Relief Plan of Maine. By March 31st, stimulus cheques should be sent to around 880,000 residents.

Five One-Time Payments this Month
Some states are extending assistance to individuals who are struggling financially as inflation proceeds to sweep the nation. For instance, residents of New Lenox, Illinois, who pay property taxes an average of $350, can take advantage of a complete property tax rebate. A form was submitted for this payout, and checks started to be issued on March 6. The payments were available to single-family homeowners, townhomes, condos, and apartments.
Direct payouts of $450 will help almost 880,000 Maine taxpayers. All residents who filed their 2021 taxes by March 3 will get the funds from the Winter Energy Relief Payouts program. If you filed a married joint return, you should have earned below $200,000, a head of household filing must have earned less than $150,000, and a single taxpayer filing must have earned less than $100,000.
Keep an eye out– checks and benefits from LD3, the Emergency Winter Energy Relief Plan, are starting to be distributed over the next few weeks.

Idaho Citizens Will Receive Money This Month
The maximum income tax rebates available in Idaho are $600 for joint filers & $300 for individual filers. Before March 31st, around 800,000 checks for $500,000,000 will be distributed. In September 2022, the Gem State approved a refund after allocating funds to reduce the state’s record budget surplus & lower taxes. The payments can take longer to process if you submit them late or experience a problem along the way.
New Mexico Continues To Make Stimulus Payments
A plan by New Mexico’s legislature to distribute cheques to taxpayers across the state later this year has advanced. According to the plan, married couples who claim jointly will get $1,000, while single filers will receive $500 apiece from the $1.2 billion package. The state Senate still needs to ratify the plan, so the rebates aren’t guaranteed just yet, reports Sun.
