Aftab Shivdasani has not been in the spotlight for quite some time now though the actor has been a part of blink- and-you-miss Hindi Bollywood releases like “Kambakkht Ishq”, “Acid Factory”, “Aao Wish Karein”, “Bin Bulaye Baraati” and “1920 – Evil Returns” in the past few years. Undoubtedly,

“Grand Masti” is the biggest success that the actor has seen since the release of “Masti” in 2004. And that is what makes his absence from the latest success party celebrating the movie’s grand success at the box office so remarkable.

Also MIA at the latest success bash was Riteish Deshmukh. Reps for both actors did not provide a reason for their absence at the party, though Vivek Oberoi didn’t mind savoring the spotlight by himself.

The film’s success party was attended by Grand Masti’s leading ladies Mariyam Zakaria, Sonalee Kulkarni and Manjari Fadnis though only Mariyam looked like she had made an effort to look glamorous for the bash.

Sporting a basic sheath dress with a lace hem and a slit on the left knee, the gorgeous actor looked far more presentable than Kainaat, who for some odd reason, chose to take a cue from Afghan President Hamid Karzai and wore a heavy looking robe thing-y.

While Sonalee did wear a strapless dress, the tulip skirt only made her look flabbier than she really is and the fuchsia hue also didn’t do any wonders to the otherwise pretty actor’s look.

Vivek Oberoi, on the other hand, donned a handsome looking blue blazer, pairing it with a basic pair of jeans made the look too causal for a high end bash.

The success party was also attended by producers Ashok Thakeria and Indra Kumar along with other members of the team that worked on the film.
