‘John Wick 5’: The Return of the Baba Yaga

The fifth installment of the action-packed franchise starring Keanu Reeves as the titular assassin is back in development after the success of ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’, which grossed over $300 million worldwide in its opening weekend.

The director of the previous four films, Chad Stahelski, will helm ‘John Wick 5’, which will reportedly begin filming back-to-back with ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ later this year.

Keanu Reeves will reprise his role as the legendary hitman who has been on the run from various enemies since he broke the rules of the Continental hotel in ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’.

What to expect from ‘John Wick 5’

While the plot details of ‘John Wick 5’ are still under wraps, fans can expect more thrilling action sequences, exotic locations, and deadly adversaries for John Wick to face.

The franchise has also expanded its universe with spin-offs such as ‘The Continental’, a TV series focusing on the hotel for assassins, and ‘Ballerina’, a film about a female assassin trained by the same organization as John Wick.
