'Bholaa' Public Review: Ajay Devgn, Tabu shine in this thrilling remake of 'Kaithi'

Bholaa is a Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil blockbuster Kaithi, starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role. The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who also helmed the original.

Bholaa follows the story of a convict who is released after 10 years and gets involved in a mission to save a group of police officers from a deadly drug cartel.

The plot

The film begins with a raid on a drug warehouse by a team of police officers led by Inspector Bejoy (Vikrant Massey). They confiscate a huge amount of cocaine and lock it up in a secret location. However, they soon realize they have been poisoned by the drug lord, who wants his stash back. The only antidote is available at a hospital 300 km away and they have only a few hours to reach there before they die.

On his way, he encounters Bejoy and his team, who struggle to find a vehicle to transport them to the hospital. Bholaa agrees to help them in exchange for some money and drives them in his truck. However, he soon realizes that he has become a target of the drug cartel, who are chasing them with guns and bombs. A nail-biting chase sequence follows that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.
