Shiba Inu Lead Shytoshi Kusama Drops LEASH Token Bombshell

Shiba Inu (SHIB), the popular meme coin that has gained a loyal fan base, is gearing up for the launch of its own blockchain platform, Shibarium. The project has been in development since July 2021, when Shiba Inu announced its partnership with Polygon, a leading layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum.

More than 700,000 transactions have been conducted on the test network so far, although that isn’t extremely large relative to the hype.

Shibarium aims to provide a fast, secure and low-cost environment for decentralized applications (DApps) and smart contracts, as well as a native token swap feature called ShibaSwap. The platform will also introduce a new token called BONE, which will serve as the governance token of Shibarium and allow holders to vote on proposals and changes.

Before launching the mainnet, Shiba Inu tested its platform on a testnet called Puppynet, which went live in October 2021. Puppynet is an experimental network that allows developers and users to try out the features and functionalities of Shibarium without risking real funds or assets.

According to the latest update from the Shiba Inu team, Puppynet has seen a surge in activity and feedback from the community. The team reported that over 10,000 transactions have been processed on Puppynet so far, and that several DApps have been deployed and tested on the network. The team also thanked the testers and developers for their valuable input and suggestions, which will help improve the quality and security of Shibarium.

The team did not reveal a specific date for the mainnet launch, but said that it is working hard to ensure that Shibarium meets the highest performance and reliability standards. The team also urged the community to be patient and cautious of any scams or fake announcements regarding Shibarium.
