Stimulus Payments Made At The Month End

Residents of Alaska have till Friday, March 31, to submit their applications for the state’s yearly Permanent Fund Dividend. A part of the energy revenues of the state is distributed to full-year inhabitants under this scheme. A PFD costs $3,284.

This year, SSI recipients will receive their April payout a little early. Although SSI recipients are typically paid on the first of the month, if that day falls on a weekend or a holiday, they will be paid earlier. Because April 1 falls on a Saturday, the SSI will be distributed on March 31 on a Friday. The next payment date for SSI recipients will be May 1.

The American Rescue Plan

In addition to the $600 payments Congress approved in December 2020, President Joe Biden announced a $1400 stimulus check to be distributed to American households in January 2021.
