New York State & its City both offer a variety of income programs. Five hundred low-income pregnant women received a $1,000 stimulus check per month for three years from the Bridge Project last spring.

The Creatives Rebuild New York initiative in New York State gave artists $125 million in disaster money. Particularly, 2,400 artists in New York will get $1,000 in rewards spread out over 18 months. The program will also provide 300 artists with two years of full-time employment at $65,000 each.

Chicago Residents Qualify For Stimulus Payments

According to Straight Arrow News, Chicago’s undocumented immigrants are among those currently eligible for $500 Covid-19 pandemic relief cheques. Chicago is taking advantage of government funding from the Rescue Plan Act of America.

The money is for households that weren’t qualified for federal Covid-19 stimulus payments due to their immigrant status, according to city officials. Despite working at the time of the Covid-19 outbreak, officials contend that undocumented immigrants in their towns went unchecked. The estimated number of undocumented immigrants receiving Covid-19 assistance payments from Chicago is 17,000.

Farmers & Food Workers Helped By Stimulus Programme

The Farm & Food Workers Relief program is open to farmers, meatpackers, and grocery store employees.

Anybody who worked lawfully between January 2020 and the end of December 2022 was urged to apply for the stimulus program, provided they were employed in the agriculture sector. Over 2,000 farm employees in Arizona Yuma County qualified for the payout. Comite de Bienestar is a non-profit organization that assists Mexican-American immigrants & farmers with financial challenges. Arizona residents can contact them. The USDA website has contact information for the relief program for people living in other states, reports Sun.
