NASA has announced the selection of 24 new fellows for the 2023 NASA Hubble Fellowship Program (NHFP), which supports outstanding postdoctoral scientists performing independent research in any area of NASA astrophysics.

The NHFP is one of the world’s most prestigious and competitive postdoctoral programs. It allows fellows to pursue their research at any U.S. institution that hosts NASA-funded astrophysics projects. The fellows also receive generous benefits, including travel and research funds, health insurance, and relocation assistance.

The NHFP is administered by the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) in Baltimore, Maryland, in coordination with NASA’s Astrophysics Division. The program is named after three of NASA’s great observatories: the Hubble Space Telescope (HST), the Chandra X-ray Observatory (CXO), and the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).
