On Tuesday morning, March 5, 43-year-old IT executive Bob Lee, the founder of the mobile payment app Cash App, was brutally stabbed to death in San Francisco, California.
The Incident
According to a press release from the police, they received information about the incident at 2.35 am on Tuesday and arrived at the site in the 300 block of Main Street. When the police noticed the man, they contacted the ambulance, and he was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
As per NDTV reports, initially, the police could not recognize the body, but later on, Lee’s friends confirmed his identity.
According to the police’s statement, the victim died from his injuries before getting to the hospital.
The San Francisco Police Department has not disclosed the identities of any suspects or made any arrests.
