On Wednesday, April 5, Ontario reported thousands of power outage complaints following heavy rain, thunderstorms, and snow.
The outages
As per THE EPOCH TIMES, with downpours and potential ice storms still in the forecast, thousands of people in Ontario are without power resulting from an unpredictable combination of freezing rain and thunderstorms battering areas of the province.
An outage map reveals that thousands of customers have been without power since morning, though Hydro One says personnel is responding.
The majority of the reported outages are in central Ontario, where Environment Canada has issued weather warnings and forecasts to expect multiple thunderstorms and 50 mm of rain until tonight.
The forecasting organization for eastern Ontario predicted extended spells of freezing rain with possible ice storm conditions, leading to Ottawa’s cancellation of school buses.
Winter storm warnings are now in effect for northern Ontario, and by early Thursday morning, between 15 and 25 cm of snow and ice are expected to have accumulated.
After thunderstorms passed across southern Ontario this morning, some GO trains have been delayed, and several areas near Lake Erie are under river flood warnings.

There's no way that's going to kill me,” Renner told ABC News in March about the accident. “I lost a lot of flesh and bone in this experience, but I was charged and filled with love and titanium. In the following months, Renner used social media to update fans on his recovery process and extensive physical therapy.
