Micromax Canvas Selfie finally gears up for India release

After almost three months of waiting, we finally now have word that Micromax is up for shooting its selfie centric device into the Indian market.

Micromax Canvas Selfie, announced back in December, will soon be heading for the market for a price of Rs 15999.
For a small recap of the spec sheet, the Canvas Selfie was announced with a 4.7-inch screen that boasts a 720p resolution at a pixel density of around 312ppi.

The chipset features an octa-core processor that has been clocked at 1.7 GHz, and will be accompanied by 2GB of RAM.

16GB is what the device offers with its in-built storage, which can be expanded up to 32 GB via micro SDs. Running the Android 4.4 OS, the smartphone will be powered by a 2300 mAh battery.

What makes it stand apart from the rest is its front cam shooter, which has been one of its kinds in Indian market.
The front camera in Micromax Canvas Selfie will be snapping images at a massive resolution of 13 MP.

And that gets joined by an LED flash for adding up the lightings to your selfie shoots.
The same shooter is featured on its rear, which however is accompanied by a dual-LED flash, placed on either side of the lens.

The rear panel will be bragging a fine finish of faux leather. The device has been announced to be available in two shades; Angelic White and a Mystic Blue model.

Although with the revelation of its pricing, Micromax hasn’t yet spilled the beans on the exact date of its arrival. But it can be expected that the selfie snapper will be heading out to the markets soon, probably during the mid-weeks of March.
