Jason Momoa to play the villain in Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan's 'Tiger vs Pathaan'?

Suppose you are a fan of Bollywood and Hollywood action movies. In that case, you might be excited to hear about the latest buzz around ‘Tiger Vs. Pathaan’, a spy thriller that will reportedly feature two of the biggest stars of Indian cinema – Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan – in a crossover of their respective franchises ‘Tiger’ and ‘Pathaan.’

But that’s not all. According to some unconfirmed reports, the filmmakers are also eyeing a Hollywood biggie to play the role of the main antagonist in the movie. And the name being discussed is Jason Momoa, the star of ‘Aquaman’ and ‘Game Of Thrones.’

Jason Momoa is known for his rugged looks, muscular physique, and impressive acting skills. He has played some memorable roles in Hollywood films and TV shows, such as Khal Drogo in ‘Game Of Thrones,’ Arthur Curry/Aquaman in ‘Aquaman’ and ‘Justice League,’ Duncan Idaho in ‘Dune,’ and most recently, Ray Merriman in ‘Fast X,’ opposite Vin Diesel. He has also met Shah Rukh Khan in person at an event in Riyadh, where they posed for photos with Jackie Chan and Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Suppose Jason Momoa joins the cast of ‘Tiger Vs. Pathaan’. In that case, it will surely add to the star power and hype of the film, which is already being touted as one of the most expensive and ambitious projects ever made in Bollywood.

The film is said to have a budget of Rs 300 crore, excluding the actors’ fees. It is also said to be on the lines of the Marvel blockbuster ‘Captain America: Civil War,’ where two superheroes clash over their ideologies and loyalties.

In this case, it will be Tiger (Salman Khan), a former RAW agent who works for a covert organization called Zoya (Katrina Kaif), and Pathaan (Shah Rukh Khan), a rogue agent who is on a mission to avenge his mentor’s death.

The film will be directed by Siddharth Anand, who has helmed action films like ‘War,’ ‘Bang Bang,’ and ‘Anjaana Anjaani previously.’ It will also be a part of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, including other films like ‘War 2’ and ‘Tiger 3’. The film is expected to go on floors in 2024 and be released in 2025.

However, the makers or the actors involved have not officially confirmed. So, until then, we can only hope that this speculation turns out to be accurate and that we get to see Jason Momoa as the villain in Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Vs. Pathaan’.
