OTT Releases April 14, 2023: 'Mrs Undercover', 'Rennervations' 'Jubilee Part 2' and 'Shehzada'

Plenty of new movies and web series will be released on various OTT platforms on April 14, 2023.

Whether you are in the mood for some comedy, drama, action or romance, there is something for everyone.

Here are some of the OTT releases that you can watch this weekend.

‘Mrs Undercover’ (Zee5)

Mrs Undercover is a spy comedy starring Radhika Apte as Durga, a former undercover agent who turns homemaker and is called back on duty after ten years.

She discovers that getting back is not easy because, after marriage, she has forgotten everything, having devoted all her time to her family. It also stars Sumeet Vyas, Rajesh Sharma and Saheb Chatterjee. Directed by Anushree Mehta, Mrs Undercover promises a fun ride with action, humour and drama.

‘Rennervations’ (Disney Plus Hotstar)

Rennervations is a four-part docuseries featuring Jeremy Renner and Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor. In the show, Renner and his skilled artisans transform abandoned vehicles into art that benefits local communities worldwide.

The globe-trotting series begins in the actor’s hometown of Reno, Nevada to Chicago, Illinois, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Rajasthan, India. Rennervations showcases Renner’s passion for helping people and creating unique vehicles that serve a purpose.

‘Jubilee Part 2’ (Zee5)

Jubilee Part 2 is the second instalment of the series that celebrates the golden era of Indian cinema. Set against the backdrop of the 1950s and 1960s, Jubilee Part 2 chronicles the lives of a studio boss, his movie-star wife, a trusted aide, a rising star, a nautch girl and a refugee and the gambles they’re willing to take in pursuit of their dreams, passion, ambition and love.

The series features an ensemble cast of Aparshakti Khurana, Aditi Rao Hydari, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sidhant Gupta, Nandish Sandhu and Ram Kapoor. Directed by Anushree Mehta, Jubilee Part 2 is a tribute to the legends of Bollywood.

‘Shehzada’ (Netflix)

Shehzada is a family entertainer starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. The film revolves around a young man who inherits a royal palace from his grandfather and decides to renovate it with the help of his childhood friend.

However, he soon faces many challenges and obstacles from his greedy relatives who want to claim the property for themselves. Shehzada is directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by Karan Johar.

‘Queenmaker’ (Netflix)

Queenmaker is a South Korean drama series starring Kim Hee-ae, Moon So-ri and Ryu Soo-young. The series follows Hwang Do-hee (Kim Hee-ae), an image-making genius who oversaw a conglomerate’s strategic planning division.

She decides to quit her job and start her own business as a queenmaker who helps women achieve their dreams and goals. However, she soon faces fierce competition from her former colleague Lee Ji-hyun (Moon So-ri) who wants to sabotage her plans. Queenmaker is directed by Oh Jin Suk and written by Kim Eun Sook.
