Karnataka won the toss and elected to field first in the finals of the Ranji Trophy 2015 match being played in Mumbai from March 8-12, 2015.
Robin Uttappa will keep wickets in place of the injured CM Gautam in this big final.
Tamil Nadu skipper Abhinav Mukund said after the toss, “It was been a great turnaround for us. The important thing is that we keep our cool in the finals. I am happy to be batting first. The onus is on me and Vijay”.

Tamilnadu: V Shankar, R Prasanna, B Indrajith, M Rangarajan, A Aswin Crist, L Balaji, P Parameswaran, A Mukund, M Vijay and KD Karthik.
Tamilnadu were bundled out for just 134 runs in their first innings. The KArnataka pacers bowled well to scalp three wickets each.
The pitched looked as though it is favoring the bowlers heavily. 14 wickets fell on the first day. When last reports came in, the Karnataka score was 64/4.
