Stimulus Check Update: Alaska, South Carolina, And Other States Continue To Send Stimulus Funds In 2023

Several states still have scheduled stimulus money until 2023. Others are still taking applications or qualified income tax returns, while some are delivering unpaid benefits to citizens who submitted applications within deadlines that have since passed.

Stimulus Checks In Alaska

Alaska has opened the PFD filing period for 2023. Through March 31, residents may submit their applications online or in person at one of the state’s PFD offices. Applications for PFDs from 2022 and earlier years that are marked as “eligible-not paid” on March 8 will be granted on March 16. Applications that are in the category “eligible-not paid” on April 12 will be dispersed on April 20.

South Carolina Tax Returns

By the initial deadline of October 17, 2022, the majority of qualified South Carolinians had already submitted the 2021 tax returns as well as get their 2022 reimbursements. The rebates of up to $800 will, however, be given to individuals who opted for the Hurricane Ian disaster assistance extension, which granted them until February 15 of this year.

Massachusetts Tax Rebates

Residents of Massachusetts who qualify may still apply for a portion of the state’s 62F Taxpayer Refund. For the tax year 2021, qualifying residents will receive a refund of slightly over fourteen percent of their state revenue taxes bill if their returns are submitted before September 15. After filing, residents should anticipate receiving their refunds in roughly a month.

New Mexico Stimulus Checks

Most of New Mexico’s 2022 refunds, which are worth up to $1,500, have already been distributed. But if they submit a 2021 state earnings tax refund by May 31, people who don’t generally file income tax returns remain eligible for refunds of $500 or $1,000, based on their filing status.

New Jersey Relief Aid

Applications for ANCHOR property tax reduction had to be submitted by February 28th for eligible New Jersey residents. Renters who qualify will earn $450, and homeowners who qualify might get up to $1,500. By the end of May, every transaction will be made via cheque or direct deposit reports Yahoo Finance.
