Mumbai Police Respond to Punjab Kings’ Crime Report After Arshdeep Singh Breaks Stumps

Arshdeep Singh breaks the middle stump twice in the 20th over

Arshdeep Singh, the young pacer of Punjab Kings, displayed a brilliant performance with the ball in the IPL 2023 match against Mumbai Indians on Saturday.

He bowled two Mumbai batters in the last over of the game by breaking their stumps with his accurate yorkers. Punjab Kings won the match by 13 runs and Arshdeep was awarded the Player of the Match for his four-wicket haul.

Punjab Kings took to Twitter to share a picture of one of the broken stumps and jokingly tagged Mumbai Police, saying they wanted to report a crime. Mumbai Police responded with a witty tweet, saying they would only take action on breaking the law, not stumps.
