The Kannada entertainment industry is mourning the loss of one of its talented actors, Sampath J Ram, who was found dead at his Bengaluru home on Saturday. He was 35 years old.
Sampath J Ram was known for his roles in popular TV shows like “Agnisakshi” and “Sri Balaji Photo Studio, as well as some films. According to reports, he died by suicide due to a lack of work and opportunities in the industry.
His death was confirmed by his friend and director Rajesh Dhruva, who shared a heartfelt note on social media, expressing his grief and shock. He wrote that Sampath had many dreams and aspirations as an actor, and that he still had to see him on the big stage.
Many other celebrities and colleagues also paid their tributes to Sampath J Ram, who had got married just a year ago. His last rites are expected to be performed today.
Sampath J Ram’s demise is a tragic reminder of the struggles and pressures faced by many actors in the industry, especially during the pandemic. We hope he finds peace in his eternal journey.
