Fans of Hrithik Roshan’s superhero franchise ‘Krrish’ have eagerly awaited the fourth installment of the series.
The actor had announced ‘Krrish 4’ on his father Rakesh Roshan’s birthday in 2018, but the project got delayed for various reasons.
Now, according to a report by Filmfare, the film has finally found its director in Karan Malhotra, who had previously worked with Hrithik in ‘Agneepath’ and ‘Brothers’.
The report claims that Rakesh Roshan, who had directed the franchise’s first three films, has decided to hand over the reins to Karan Malhotra, as he wants to focus on the production and script of ‘Krrish 4’.
The report also states that Karan has already started working on the film’s pre-production, which is expected to go on floors by the end of this year.
‘Krrish 4’ will reportedly feature Hrithik in a double role, as he will play both the superhero and the villain.
The film will also introduce a new female lead, paired opposite Hrithik’s superhero avatar. The makers are yet to finalize the cast and crew of the film, but it is expected to be a grand spectacle with high-octane action and VFX.
