Just a few weeks after her shocking breakup with British actor Joe Alwyn, Taylor Swift, 33, is reportedly in a new relationship with Matt Healy.
The New Romance
Taylor Swift allegedly wasted no time returning to the dating field and is believed to be involved in a new relationship with a British musician.
As per The Sun, he is none other than The 1975 vocalist Matty Healy who invited Taylor to the stage at one of his shows earlier this year for the first live performance of her song Anti-Hero.
Fans went into a social media frenzy when Taylor was later seen backstage with his mother, former Corrie actress Denise, 64.
On April 8, Matty’s 34th birthday, Taylor’s breakup from her supposed fiancé Joe was conveniently announced, which fans saw to be Taylor’s “gift” to her new partner.
When discussing his decision to discontinue all social media last month, the Brit singer seemed to refer to Taylor’s enormously popular tour, Eras.
While Taylor is now dating Matty, it’s rumored that her ex Joe has also moved on.
He has been linked to 24-year-old Scottish actress Emma Laird, whom he met during the production of the forthcoming film The Brutalist in Hungary.
Swift-Healy History
They briefly dated for the first time about ten years ago, but the timing just wasn’t right for them then. When Taylor and Matty started their brief relationship in 2014, the singer was seen performing while rocking a 1975 T-shirt and singing along to The City.
The 2016 song “A Change of Heart” by The 1975 may have been inspired by Swift, according to the media.
Four-time Brit Award winner Matty said in November that his band had worked with Taylor on her album Midnights. But their work was never chosen for the final launch.
