The CBSE 12th Result 2023 was declared on May 12, 2023, and the overall pass percentage was 87.33%. This is an improvement over the 83.40% pass percentage of 2019, which was the last year before the COVID-19 pandemic. The results were announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on its official website, results.cbse.nic.in.
A total of 35,91,636 students appeared for the CBSE 12th Board Exams 2023, out of which 31,20,896 students passed. The pass percentage was highest in the Science stream at 93.98%, followed by the Commerce stream at 84.02% and the Arts stream at 82.49%.

The CBSE 12th Board Exams 2023 were conducted in two phases, from February 26 to March 13 and from March 30 to April 29. The exams were held in offline mode for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
The students who have passed the CBSE 12th Board Exams 2023 are eligible to apply for admission to undergraduate courses in colleges and universities across India.
