JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy has offered to form a coalition with the Congress after the Karnataka Assembly elections but with conditions.

In an interview with Deccan Herald, Kumaraswamy said he is willing to work with Congress if it agrees to his terms.

“I am ready to form a coalition with the Congress, but only if they agree to my conditions,” Kumaraswamy said. “My conditions are that the Congress should allow me to implement the promises made in the JD(S) manifesto and that they should not interfere in the affairs of Mandya and Hassan districts, which are the JD(S) strongholds.”

Kumaraswamy also said he is not interested in forming a coalition with the BJP.

“I will never form a coalition with the BJP,” Kumaraswamy said. “The BJP is a communal party, and I will not have anything to do with them.”
