Tesla will conduct its annual shareholder meeting in Austin, Texas, on Tuesday. Stakeholders must determine whether to accept new and old board members, including the inclusion of ex-Tesla technology leader JB Straubel.
Musk’s Twitter Takeover Affects Tesla
Musk’s fortune is vastly linked to Tesla shares. The businessman contributed to the company’s early funding and eventually came to own the most significant portion of the automaker.
Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning established the Tesla Motors electric vehicle manufacturer in July 2003. Musk became the company’s largest stakeholder in 2004 after contributing a massive USD 6.5 million.
As per CNBC, Musk has stirred up controversy ever since he sold shares of Tesla worth billions of dollars to finance his acquisition of Twitter.
After taking over Twitter in October 2022, much of his focus has been diverted, and advancements at Twitter have received more attention than those at Tesla.
