PM Modi hands out 71,000 appointment letters at Rozgar Mela

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday distributed appointment letters to 71,000 newly recruited employees via video conferencing at 45 locations across the country.

The Prime Minister also addressed the newly recruited personnel and congratulated them on their selection. He said that the government is committed to providing employment opportunities to the youth and that the Rozgar Melas are a step in that direction.

The Prime Minister said that the government is working to create an environment where the youth can start their own businesses and become job creators. He said that the government has taken a number of steps to promote entrepreneurship, including the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) and the Startup India initiative.

The Prime Minister also said that the government is working to improve the quality of education in the country so that the youth can acquire the skills they need to succeed in the job market. He said that the government has launched a number of initiatives in this regard, including the National Skills Development Mission (NSDM) and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

The Prime Minister concluded his address by urging the newly recruited personnel to work hard and contribute to the development of the country. He said that the government is committed to providing them with all the support they need to succeed.

The Rozgar Melas are a series of employment fairs organized by the government to provide employment opportunities to the youth. The first Rozgar Mela was organized in October 2022 and since then, a total of 300,000 appointment letters have been distributed to newly recruited employees.

The government has set a target of providing employment to 10 lakh people by 2024 and the Rozgar Melas are a key part of this effort. The government is also working to improve the quality of education and create an environment where the youth can start their own businesses.
