“! Fury of the Gods” brought back Zachary Levi as the titular superhero, and it also featured a surprise cameo from Gal Gadot as “Wonder Woman”. In a recent interview with EW, Levi talked about Gadot’s cameo and how excited he was to have her in the film.
“I was just stoked that she was down to it,” Levi said. “She crushes it. It was really cool that Gal was down to play in our sandbox.”
Levi also talked about how his character, Billy Batson, is a big fan of Wonder Woman. “I love that Billy is so in love with her,” he said. “He’s so infatuated, and he’s so nervous! It’s so fun to play that.”
Gadot’s cameo in “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” was a brief one, but it was a fun moment for fans of the DC universe. It’s also a sign that the two franchises are starting to crossover more and more.
In the same interview, Levi also talked about what character he’d like to see appear in a potential third Shazam! movie. “I would love to see Superman,” he said. “I think that would be really cool.”
It’s unclear if Superman will appear in a third Shazam! movie, but it’s definitely something that fans would love to see. For now, we can enjoy Gal Gadot’s cameo in “Shazam! Fury of the Gods.”
