Joe Benarroch, An Ex-NBCUniversal Executive, Is Set To Join Twitter

Joe Benarroch, a former executive at NBCUniversal, will join Twitter on Monday, June 5, in a position that focuses on business operations.

Benarroch’s Mail

In an email, Benarroch expressed excitement about joining the team to “build Twitter 2.0 together.”

Mr. Benarroch’s LinkedIn page has already been altered, indicating that he will be based in Twitter’s New York headquarters.

This new appointment occurred less than a month after Linda Yaccarino, the vice president of advertising at NBCUniversal, was selected as Twitter’s new CEO.

She will fill Mr. Musk’s current job, although he will continue to play a significant role in the business.

On Twitter, Ms. Yaccarino congratulated Benarroch by posting, “Welcome to the flock @benarroch_joe! From one bird to the next.” Although she did not mention the post, Benarroch is going to hold.

Twitter Is Bleeding Staff

Yaccarino faces more hurdles due to Benarroch’s hiring coming after a slew of managerial exits. Ella Irwin, the head of trust and safety at Twitter, announced her departure from the business on Thursday. A.J. Brown, who oversees brand safety and ad quality, has also made the decision to quit Twitter, according to news reports from Friday.

Musk has dismissed or laid off over 75% of Twitter workers since his October takeover, including the majority of people with close connections in sales and partnerships.

As per Business Today, Benarroch managed the advertising and partnerships divisions’ communication strategy while working at NBCUniversal, a division of Comcast Corp. He reported to Yaccarino, the advertising chief at the same company, before moving to Twitter.
