Mumbai, June 5, 2023: Choreographer and reality show contestant Archana Gautam has accused Shiv Thakare, a fellow contestant on the show Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, of abusing her on the sets of the show.
In a statement to the media, Gautam said that Thakare had called her names and made derogatory remarks about her. She said that the abuse had left her feeling humiliated and traumatized.
“I was shocked and hurt by his behavior,” Gautam said. “I had never expected him to say such things to me.”
Thakare has denied the allegations, calling them “false and baseless.” He said that he had never abused Gautam and that he was “deeply saddened” by her accusations.
The show’s makers have said that they are investigating the matter. They have also issued a statement saying that they take such allegations “very seriously” and that they are “committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all of our contestants.”
Gautam’s allegations have sparked outrage on social media. Many people have called for Thakare to be removed from the show.
The incident has also raised questions about the culture of abuse on reality shows. In recent years, there have been several allegations of abuse by contestants and crew members on reality shows.
