Jennifer Lawrence Open to Returning to ‘Hunger Games’ Franchise

Jennifer Lawrence says she is open to returning to the “Hunger Games” franchise. The Oscar winner played Katniss Everdeen in four films that grossed over $2.9 billion worldwide.

“Oh, my God – totally!” Lawrence told Variety during a Zoom interview to promote her new film, “No Hard Feelings.” “If Katniss ever could ever come back into my life, 100 percent.”

Lawrence said she would be interested in returning to the franchise if it was done in a way that was “really meaningful.”

“I think it would have to be something really special and different,” she said. “I don’t know if I could just do another one.”

The last “Hunger Games” film was released in 2015. The franchise is based on the novels by Suzanne Collins.

In addition to “No Hard Feelings,” Lawrence is also starring in the upcoming films “Amsterdam” and “Red, White & Water.”
