Malayalam Movie ‘Ivide’ Review and box-office collections

Shyamaprasad, the National Award winning director is one of the unquestionable names in Indian Film Industry. The director’s latest Malayalam flick ‘Ivide’ is expected to be different from his previous movies, as this new film follows the commercial path in movie making.

‘Ivide’ which is expected to be an investigative thriller based in United States of America hit the theaters on May 29, 2015.

The initial reviews coming out from the theaters are highly positive in nature, and in all probabilities, this movie will mark the first blockbuster in the career of Shyamaprasad.

The Box Office Collection of the movie may fetch new heights in the first weekend if families starts visiting the theaters.

‘Ivide’ has Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nivin Pauly in the lead roles. Ravishing beauty Bhavana is doing the role of lady lead in the movie. The film portrays the life of a serial killer, and things takes a new turn in his life when a Police Officer starts hunting him.

Prithviraj has done the role of Varun Blake, a Police officer in this movie. The character is well etched by the director, and Prithvi has done a stylish performance as the daring cop. His dialogue delivery with a typical US accent is something remarkable. Nivin does the role of an IT professional.

 

The film has reached in more than 200 theaters all across the nation. In Kerala itself, the film has hit 110 screens. Heavy initial pull is expected for this multi starrer, and if everything goes well, the movie will make more than 3 Crore INR from the Box Office at the end of this week.

This film is facing huge competition from movies like ‘Masss’ and ‘Premam’ which hit the screens on the same day.
