'Sex Education Season 4': A Sneak Peek into the Lives of Moordale Students

The wait is finally over. Netflix has just dropped the official trailer for “Sex Education Season 4”, and it looks like things are about to get even more complicated for the students of Moordale Secondary School.

The trailer shows us what to expect from the new season, which will premiere on January 14, 2022.

The trailer starts with Otis (Asa Butterfield) and Maeve (Emma Mackey) enjoying their long-awaited romance, but their happiness is soon interrupted by the arrival of a new headteacher, Hope Haddon (Jemima Kirke), who seems determined to restore order and discipline to the school.

Hope introduces a new uniform policy, bans phones and sex education, and clashes with Jean (Gillian Anderson), who is now working as the school’s counsellor.

Meanwhile, Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) and Adam (Connor Swindells) face some challenges in their relationship, as Eric gets a scholarship to go to Nigeria for six months.

Adam is not keen on the idea of a long-distance relationship, and tries to convince Eric to stay. Eric, however, feels torn between his love for Adam and his desire to explore his roots.

Other characters also have their own struggles and dilemmas. Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood) deals with the aftermath of her sexual assault, and tries to reconnect with her friends and herself. Jackson (Kedar Williams-Stirling) develops feelings for Cal (Dua Saleh), a non-binary student who joins the school.

Lily (Tanya Reynolds) and Ola (Patricia Allison) navigate their polyamorous relationship with Jakob (Mikael Persbrandt). And Ruby (Mimi Keene) reveals a shocking secret that could change everything.

“Sex Education Season 4” promises to be another hilarious, heartfelt, and honest exploration of teenage sexuality, identity, and relationships.
