Months after his comeback documentary ‘Pathaan’, Shah Rukh Khan is back with the action ‘trailer’ of another 2023 action movie ‘Jawan’. First of all, if you’re wondering what “previous” is, it’s a synonym for “preview”. So, this clip is just a nice old preview, but the French word means “to hope.”
Without much explanation, the nearly 2 minute long trailer boasts great action sequences to rival Patan. Compared to Pathaan’s original trailers and teasers, Jawan is arguably less pretentious.
From Vijay Sethupathi to Deepika Who is Jawan?
Shah Rukh Khan’s name is shown in capital letters, just like at the beginning of a Ranjikanth movie. He is accompanied by renowned Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi, who seems to be working hard for the role after making his Hindi debut in Prime Video’s Farzi. Another tough guy.
Jawan is clearly targeting pan-Indian consumers, as Tamil-Telugu-Malayalam star Nayanthara also plays a cop. South Indian actress Priyamani, who previously featured in the Chennai Express song “1 2 3 4 Get on the Dance Floor” with Shah Rukh Khan, will also be in the cast.
Interestingly, Nayanthara was the first choice featured in this song.
Jawan Another Chennai Express star is Shah Rukh’s regular partner and friend Deepika Padukone, who is praised for her unique looks. He appears in a brief scene of a mud wrestling match in the rain, dressed in traditional clothing. Sanya Malhotra, the star of Let’s Daddy (Dangal), who was watched in the latest Netflix series Kathal, also had unforgettable moments. His character is like a hacker, one of the friends of the heroes of Shah Rukh.
