Anand Devarakonda’s ‘Baby’ OTT platform and release date revealed

Anand Devarakonda’s upcoming film “Baby” will soon be available for streaming on the OTT platform Aha. The romantic comedy, directed by B. V. Nandini Reddy, features Anand and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. Suresh Babu produces the film under the banner of Suresh Productions.

Baby revolves around the life of a young software engineer who falls in love with a girl he meets online. However, he faces a dilemma when he discovers that she is pregnant with his child. How he deals with this situation and wins her heart forms the crux of the story.

The film is expected to release on Aha in August 2023. The makers have already released the teaser and the songs of the film, which have received positive response from the audience. The film also features actors like Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Rajendra Prasad and Nadiya in supporting roles.

Baby is Anand Devarakonda’s third film after Dorasani and Middle-Class Melodies. He made his debut in 2019 with Dorasani, which was critically acclaimed but failed to perform well at the box office. His second film Middle Class Melodies, which was released on Amazon Prime Video in 2020, was a hit among viewers and earned him praise for his performance.

Rashmika Mandanna, on the other hand, is one of the most popular and sought-after actresses in Telugu cinema. She has delivered several hits like Geetha Govindam, Dear Comrade, Sarileru Neekevvaru and Bheeshma. She is also making her Bollywood debut with Mission Majnu opposite Sidharth Malhotra and has signed another Hindi film titled Goodbye with Amitabh Bachchan.
