Cricket: Pakistan A beat India A to win EMERGING Asia Cup 2023

Colombo: Pakistan beat India by 128 runs to win the ACC Emerging Asia Cup.

Tayyab Tahir was the man of the match as he scored 108 on 71 balls which eventually helped his team to get past 350.

Having chosen to ball first after winning the toss, India lac behind in taking quick wickets and Pakistan took advantage of that and had an opening partnership of 121 runs after Saim Ayub got out in the 17th over, and then there was a wicket in quickly concessions but Tayyab Tahir managed to score a century and took his team into a comfortable position.
Tahir scored 108 of 71 balls, and Farhan scored 65 on 62 balls beside this every Pakistani batter made a contribution.

In reply, India was weak with the bat since Sudarshan fell in the 8 over after scoring just 29 of 28 balls top scored for India by scoring 61 runs out of 51 balls rest no other better could contribute as much in India were reduced to 224 for 10 in 40 Overs.

Sufiyan Muqeem picked up 3 wickets for 66 runs in his 10 overs but the man of the match was Tahir for his outstanding century which prove to be a match-winning one.

Nishant Sandhu was awarded the Player of the Series award for his outstanding performance throughout the tournament but could not make his team get home.

• Pakistan started very well with the bat, and the first wicket fell of in the 17th over.
• Wickets fell in quick concession after that but  Pakistan managed to hold on and post a total past 350.
