Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test, Colombo day 2.
Pakistan rocked the day after Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bowl first.
The Hosts were reduced to 36/4, Dhananjay de Silva was once again their rescue man and, along with Chandimal, had a partnership but their effort went in vain as no other batter stood up. As a result, Sri Lank were bowled Out for 166.
Dhananjay de Silva was the top scorer with his 68 ball 57. Abrar Ahmed took 4 wickets as was predicted that the pitch was going to offer help to spinners. Naseem Shah took 3 wickets and put his team in the front seat.
Pakistani Batters made sure that they do not give any chance to hosts as Abdullah Shafique is still on the crease with 74* and captain Babar Azam is along with him. Shan Masood scored a fifty earlier in the day.
No Sri Lankan bowler other than Asitha Fernando was successful in taking wickets. He took 2 wickets.
Pakistan were 145-2 at the stumps on Day 1.
