Rajnikanth responded with equal enthusiasm, giving a speech of more than 40 minutes.
In his speech, he talked about his failures, his passions, and many aspects of his life, from the moment his desire to become an actor began in him.
Sharing the stage with Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishnan was one of the most beautiful moments.
In 1999’s blockbuster Padayappa, the two had great chemistry. Ramya plays the role of Neelambari, who takes revenge after Rajinikanth’s Padayappa rejects his marriage proposal.
The film marked a turning point in Lamia’s career. Even more than twenty years later, his performance as Neelambari is still fresh in the memory of Tamil fans.
Ramya takes advantage of Jailer’s meeting to refill the scene. When Padayappa met him for the first time in nearly 20 years, he told Padayappa the heart-rending Nilambari signature word.
I’ve been saying it on all levels for the last 24 years. It would be a big mistake if I didn’t say it in front of you today,” Lamia said before making a loud joke.
Rajinikanth silently watched Ramya express his admiration.
Written and directed by Nelson, “The Jailer” is scheduled to hit theaters early next month. And Ramya also played an important role in this movie.
The movie also stars Shivarajkumar, Mohanlal, Tamannaah, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Redin Kingsley and Vinayakan. The movie will hit theaters on August 10.
