Rashmi Verma, a BJP female MP from Narkatiaganj Bihar’s Champaran district, was devastated after “hateful” photos went viral on social media on Wednesday.
In the alleged photos, she is seen with her longtime collaborator Sanjay Sarangipur.
Verma claimed that the photos were edited to make her laugh. She also said she will file a complaint with the Internet Police Service.
Verma said he is Sarangipur’s colleague, but their relationship has deteriorated over the past two years due to title disputes.
“Cyber crime cases are increasing all over the world. Anyone can edit any image anywhere.
I’m in Patna right now and I will be prosecuting unknowns with the Cyber Police Department,”
Verma told the media. “I also told the person in this picture, he’s going to open an FIR about it. It didn’t work for me until two years ago.
Now we have differences of opinion on some issues.I would like to state that no one can criticize us by sending photos.
”Sarangipur also claimed that the photos were edited in Motihari.I want to buy a land from Rashmi Verma for 1.2 Lakh.
I gave him Rs 1 lakh in cash and he gave me a copy of the contract for registration.
But when it came to the land registry, he refused,” Sarangipur said. “I reside in Motihari and am the leader of JD-U.
I recently had a kidney transplant and am now on bed rest, said Sarangipur.
