India’s Chandrayaan-3 has landed on the south side of the moon.

The success of the moon mission has made India the fourth country to successfully set foot on the moon, after the United States, China, and the former Soviet Union.

ISRO announced the landing on the ISRO website. The Chandrayaan-3 mission was launched on July 14 from Sriharikota.
