British singer Liam Payne has delayed his upcoming tour after suffering a “serious kidney infection”.
The former One Direction star announced on Instagram that he was postponing his South American adventure after being hospitalized.
In a video for fans, Liam wrote, “I regret to tell you that we have no choice but to postpone our upcoming South American tour.”
The singer added, “Last week I was hospitalized for severe kidney disease. it was something I didn’t want to happen to anyone and the doctor said I needed to rest and recover from now on.”
Payne said in a video message that he had been “feeling a little bad lately” and rehearsing for the tour, which will begin September 1 in Lima, Peru.
“I just said it’s not time to hit the road and come back from this situation,” Payne said, adding that when he’s recovered, he’ll be back “with a bigger and better performance.”
After One Direction announced their hiatus in 2015, Payne embarked on a solo career.
Zayn Malik is part of the boy band along with Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles. Much love and regards.
Some netizens expressed their love for the singer:
“Coming soon!
I love you, I will love you forever. While another fan told him not to get upset, “You don’t have to be sad. I hope you get well soon.
One fan warned Payne that he didn’t have to come back with anything, and he said, “I hope you’re okay too, get well soon but don’t forget Liam, It doesn’t matter if he’s in a hurry to go on tour or other promotions,” shared the fans. If he likes his fans, it means they “love” him too.
