ISRO set to launch solar Misson on September 2 after Chandrayaan-3

ISRO’s solar mission, Aditya L1, is ready to launch from its launch pad in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

ISRO plans to launch the country’s first solar mission, Aditya L1, within the next 14 days after completing the Chandrayaan 3 mission.

Regarding the launch date, Nilesh M. Desai, director of the Space Application Center (SAC) in Ahmedabad, said on Saturday that it could be closed by September 2.

Launched at the UR Rao Satellite Center (URSC) in Bangalore, the satellite has arrived at SDSC-SHAR in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh and is on the launch pad.“We are planning the Aditya-L1 mission to study the sun.

Ready and placed on the launch pad. Possible to launch on September 1 to 5,” Desai told ANI news agency.

The orbit around is about 1.5 million kilometers from Earth. ISRO explains that the choice of location is crucial for continuous observation of stars without the advantage of being eclipsed.

This mission understands the problems of “corona heat, coronal mass ejections, pre-flares, flare activities, and their signature, atmospheric dynamics, propagation of particles and fields, etc., and the sun’s strata.

The module will have electromagnetic particle and magnetic field detectors to conduct research.

Four of the seven payloads will be used for direct observation of the sun from the L1 special viewpoint; elsewhere, we will conduct surveys of objects and fields to determine the effect of solar energy on the interplanetary medium.
